Orchid B. Malterer, age 84 of Cincinnati, OH passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born December 16, 1926 in Toronto, Ontario she was the daughter of the late George & Margaret (Wallace) Burnet. She married Edward Malterer on July 31, 1948 in Elyria, OH. Orchid was a member of the Church of the Open Door in Elyria, OH. Orchid is survived by her husband Edward Malterer, daughter and her husband Donna & Ron Schlemmer of Harrison, OH; 2 sisters Margaret & Ann and 2 brothers Jack & George. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
