Otto Charles Rosfeld, age 77 years of Metamora, IN passed away Saturday, September 24, 2005 in Batesville, IN. Born July 21, 1928 in Brookville, IN he was the son of the late Otto & Cordelia (Schneider) Rosfeld. He was a US Army Veteran during WWII and retired from Owens Corning Roofing in Brookville. He married Ella Marie Roelker on May 28, 1955 in Cincinnati, OH. He was a member of the Batesville Assembly of God. Mr. Rosfeld is survived by his sons James Rosfeld of Metamora, IN; Michael Rosfeld of St. Charles, MO & David Rosfeld of Greensburg, IN; daughters Kathy Sauerwein of Metamora, IN; Lisa Dupree of Londonderry, NH; Mary House of Louisville, KY and Linda Reali of Denton, TX; 23 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; brothers Frank Rosfeld of Connersville, IN; Harold Rosfeld of West Alexandria, OH and John Rosfeld of Dayton, OH. In addition to his parents and wife Ella Marie Rosfeld he was preceded in death by his brother Robert Rosfeld and sister Rita Firsich. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 27, 2005 from 5-8pm at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John Church Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites. Memorials are suggested to the Lupus or Alzheimer's Foundation.
