Patricia Lynn Canterbury (Patty), 75, of Sunman passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at UC Hospital Cincinnati Ohio.

She was born in Covington, Kentucky on May 19, 1949, to Charles and Mary Ella (nee Zimmerman) Stark. Patricia married Danny Canterbury on August 9, 1974 in Sailor Park, Ohio. She was a former partner in The Sunshine Corner Florist in Sunman, Indiana, and was also in sales for the Yellow Pages.

Patty loved her flowers.  She also loved traveling, especially going to the casinos and the Grand Cayman Islands were a favorite destination. Being with her family was a treasured time but she loved being with her grandchildren the most.

Patty is survived by her husband, Danny; children: Jason (Jessica) Canterbury, of New Port Kentucky; Josh (Brenna) Canterbury, of Flag Staff Arizona; 2 grandchildren Kinley, Hayden Canterbury; close family friends Brian (Erica) Alsip and their children Conner and Zeke. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Ella Stark, step-brothers: Harry Stark and Charles Stark.

Friends may call Sunday, July 21, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a 3:00 pm memorial service immediately following, all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville. Pastor Shawn Crisman is officiating.
