Philip Lee Bossenbroek, 75, of Batesville passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at the Waters of Batesville. He was born on May 20, 1949 as the son of Wilbert and Violet (Wesner) Bossenbroek.

Philip was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Aurora. He had a love for reading and travelling. He had a desire to see new things. He had a great sense of humor that brought laughter and warmth to all who were fortunate enough to know him. His spirit of adventure and kindness will be dearly missed by family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his significant other, Linda Lenois; daughter, Amanda Albert; step-daughter, Kimberley (Chris) Sparkman; grandchildren: CJ (Brittany), Joshua (Gabrielle), Zachary (Deborah); great grandchildren: Lyllian, OC, Ethan, Lucas, Gideon, Madelyn, Sophie, and Benjamin; siblings: Glenda, Helen, Butch (Fran), Gary, and Allegra; nieces: Tammy, Tara, and Nicki; nephew, Bret; great niece, Nora; and a special friend, Marcy Albert.

In accordance with Philip's wishes, cremation was chosen. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
