Randy Jay Gunter, 55, of Batesville, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at The Waters of Batesville. He was born on July 28, 1967 in Batesville, Indiana to Mervin and Mary (Hummell) Gunter.

To know Randy was to love him. He touched many lives over the years. Randy was a special person who taught a lot to those around him. He was a country boy at heart and loved the outdoors, cars, and four wheelers. He loved his fiancé, the late Sue McConnell. Family was always important to him and he will be deeply missed by them.

Randy is survived by his siblings, Don Gunter (Brenda), Daryl Gunter (Amy), Sheryl Shane (Steve); sister-in-law, Linda Gunter; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mervin and Mary (Hummell) Gunter, brother, Ron Gunter, and fiancé, Sue McConnell.

Services will be private.
