Raylan Gus Morris was diagnosed with Spina Bifida at his ultrasound at 21 weeks. He had fetalscopic surgery to repair his back and was born at 34 weeks. His back and legs were working well, but lungs weren't quite ready. Raylan passed away in the loving arms of his parents on Monday, June 11, 2018. He was loved by many and touched the hearts of even more. Raylan earned his wings knowing that he will help the future of other babies with Spina Bifida. He was one day old.

Raylan is survived by his parents, Scott & Breanna Morris of Butlerville, Indiana; maternal grandparents Russell & Anna Nuhring; paternal grandmother, Mei-Sheng Lu; maternal great grandparents Bill & Alice Nuhring; aunts and uncles, Jake & Brittnay Nuhring, Josh & Andrea Nuhring, and Terry and Ginger Morris along with several nephews, cousins and 2 great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Everett Morris and his uncle Kevin Morris.

Memorial service will be 7:00pm on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 and friends may call from 6-7pm, at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN.
