Raymond Carl Zweige, age 81 of Munster, IN passed away Thursday, August 17, 2006. He was born January 22, 1925 to Lester & Freida (Meyer) Zweige. Survived by his loving wife Suzanne; three daughters Sharon (John) Ellingwood, Linda (Paul) Chabot and Sandra (Richard) Scepkowski; one son William (Mary Ann) Zweige; grandchildren Alyssa Ellingwood, Elizabeth Chabot, Matthew & Michael Zweige, Rebecca & Matthew Chabot, Jennifer Scepkowski; two sisters Mary Elizabeth (Edgar) Fleenor and Edna Mae (Allen) Covalt; brother-in-law Harry (Sandra) Bourquin and many nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Batesville High School and Purdue University, Navy Veteran of WWII and retired from Bethlehem Steel with 50 years of service. Raymond was a member of the Indiana Harbor Masonic Lodge #686 F.&A.M. He was head of the York Rite Chapter #117 RAM, Council #90 RSM; Commandery #41 KT; member of the North West Indiana York Rite College #73 and life member of the Elk Lodge #981. Masonic memorial services will be Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at 7:30 P.M. at the Indiana Harbor Masonic Lodge, 2234 Martha St., Highland, IN. Graveside services will be Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John (Huntersville) Cemetery.
