Richard Herbert Behlmer, age 80, of Batesville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. He was born on January 4, 1944 in Batesville as the son of Herbert and Loreda (Haag) Behlmer.

Richard graduated from Batesville High School and then worked for many years as the maintenance supervisor at Romweber. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and Batesville Lodge 668 F&AM. He married Julie Mullins on November 28, 1981 and she survives.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Julie; daughter, Ann Behlmer; and his trusting dog, Bob.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ed Behlmer.

It was Richard's long-standing wish to have no services. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Mark's Cemetery Fund or Liberty Acres United Rescue Animal Sanctuary in care of Meyers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 202, Batesville, IN 47006.
