Robert O. Markland, age 83 of Harrison, OH passed away Friday, January 27, 2011 in Cincinnati, OH. Born April 3, 1927 in Hamilton, OH he was the son of the late Owen & Myrtle (Haas) Markland. He married Patsy Byrd on July 27, 1982. Robert is survived by his wife Patsy Markland, children Doug Markland & his wife Holly, Paula Wallpe & her husband Scott, Gene Markland, Peggy Doorman and her husband Kevin and Bob Markland Jr. & his wife Amanda, stepchildren Gordan McIntosh, Karen Bargiel, Sharon McIntosh-Lewin and her husband Craig and Kevin McIntosh. He will also be missed by several grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Tonya Markland, brothers Eugene & Merlin Markland and sister Fern Witham. Memorial services will be Saturday, February 6, 2011 at 10:00am at the House of Power & Prayer in New Trenton, IN. Memorials are suggested to the family.
