Robert Francis McMullen, age 78 of Aurora, IN passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in Cloverdale, IN. Born March 29, 1935 in Dearborn Co., IN he was the son of the late Emmett Alger & Bendolia (Stith) McMullen. The US Army Veteran was a 1953 graduate of Aurora High School, ROTC graduate and received his Bachelor & Master Degrees from Indiana University. He was a member of the Pipe Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Penntown, IN. Robert is survived by his wife Dayla (Nichols) McMullen, daughter Deborah (Robert) Dillon of Cloverdale, IN, sons Robert (Pam) McMullen of Aurora, IN & Michael (Sue) McMullen of Dillsboro, IN. He will also be missed by his 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jane (Birkle) McMullen. The family will hold private graveside services. Memorials are suggested to Pipe Creek Freewill Baptist Church c/o the funeral home.
