Robert John Moorman, age 69 of Batesville passed away on September 1, 2022.  The son of Joseph and Arlene M. (Brinkman) Moorman was born on December 1, 1952 in Batesville, IN. Bob, as most knew him, was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church.

Despite having a rough life, dealing with his Cerebral Palsy, Bob was a happy person, a very gentle soul and made the best of life. He loved restoring antiques and dealing in them. He worked at the Antique Store in Batesville for years and enjoyed what he did. Many years ago, Bob got a dune buggy - he loved to drive it and his family thinks he may have been one of the first people in town to have one. In his spare time, Bob also loved watching good murder mysteries on TV. Most of all he enjoyed being with his family and just having fun.

He is survived by his brothers, Jim Moorman of Batesville and Paul (Debbie) Moorman of Greensburg along with two nephews, one niece and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, JoAnn Moorman.

Friends and family may call on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 4-6pm followed by a memorial service at 6:00pm all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville.
