Born November 16, 1947 in Barbourville, KY he was the son the late Ike Sr. & Monita (Jordan) Merida. He was formerly employed at the GM plant in Norwood, OH. Mr. Merida had many hobbies including an avid rabbit hunter, he enjoyed bluegrass music, was a big UK Wildcats fan and loved to garden, especially his tomatoes.

Ronnie is survived by his brother Ike Jr. (Karen) Merida of Moores Hill, IN and sisters Shirley Branstutter of Batesville, IN, Barbara (Curtis) Broughton of Batesville, IN, Patricia (Tom) Bishoff of Delaware, IN & Drucilla (Lloyd) Miller of Osgood, IN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Wayne & Raymond Merida.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 12, 2010 from 5-8pm at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 11:00am at Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Craven Cemetery in Milan, IN. Memorials are suggested to the family c/o the funeral home.
