Rosella Adams (nee: Benge), age 87 of Dunnellon, FL formerly of Batesville, IN passed away Thursday, April 14, 2005 at Brentwood Health Center in LeCanto, FL. Born January 6, 1918 in Letcher Co., KY, she was the daughter of Benjamin & Dora (Collins) Benge. She married Oceanus Adams on Oct. 9, 1936 in Letcher Co., KY. She retired from Hill-Rom. Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughters Janice Jean Knight of Lynchburg, OH and Polly Ann Folton of Dunnellon, FL; 13 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren; brother Joe Benge of Charlestown, IN and sister Patricia Morgan of Charlestown, IN. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her son Roger Adams, 2 infant children and brothers Jack & Roy Benge. Visitation will be Monday, April 18, 2005 from 5-8pm at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Thomas Fehrman officiating. Burial will be in St. John Church Cemetery Huntersville. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Assoc.
