Ruben Sams Jr., age 68 of Greensburg, Indiana passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Arbor Grove Village in Greensburg.  The son of Ruben Sams Sr. and Lillie Roberts, was born in Gray Hawk, Kentucky on January 1, 1950.

Ruben graduated from Jackson County High School in KY and later received his B.S. to become an RN.  He worked as an RN at a local hospital and lived in Arizona for most of his career.

He is survived by his siblings, Carolyn Schreibeis of Sunman, IN, Lucille DeBarr of Atlanta, IN, Mollie Menchaca of Noblesville, IN, Crystlene Summers of Tompkinsville, KY, Adrain Sams of Kokomo, IN and Dallas Sams of Kokomo, IN.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Helen Griffin and brothers Charles Robert Sams and Edward Sams.

Family has chosen cremation and services will be private.
