Ruth Evelyn Fryman, 88, of Dillsboro, passed away on September 30, 2021. The daughter of Carl and Irene (Parker) Swango, she was born on March 20, 1933 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

Ruth dedicated her life to her faith and she loved every minute of it. She shared her faith with everyone where ever she went. She was a former member of Hope Baptist Church in Dillsboro.

Ruth never turned down an opportunity to go for a good shopping trip, especially if it involved buying supplies for crafts or anything to do with remodeling her home. She was always working on a project around the house and it seemed that there was nothing Ruth couldn't do. She and her husband, Clarence, enjoyed many trips together. Some of Ruth's favorite memories were of all the meals she shared with her family.

Ruth will be deeply missed by her children, Ralph Fryman, Carl Fryman, Connie Laaker, and Troy Fryman; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; sister, Janetta Bentle; and brother, Lloyd Swango.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Irene Swango; sisters, Mary, Ruby, and Dora.

There will be no services at this time.
