Ruth C. Martin, age 61 years of Batesville, IN passed away Saturday, September 30, 2006 at her home. Born January 24, 1945 in Batesville, IN she was the daughter of the late Ivan & Elsie (Drake) Thies. She married Joseph Martin on May 27, 1967 at St. John church in Enochsburg, IN. She was a member of St. Louis Church in Batesville, IN. Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband Joseph Martin, daughter Stacy Fullenkamp of Oldenburg, IN and son Bradley Martin of Batesville, IN; grandchildren Gwen & Anthony Martin; brothers Uvon Thies of Beaver, W. Virginia & Estel Thies of Batesville, IN. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 4, 2006 from 4-7 PM followed by services at 7:00 P.M. all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN with Rev. Charles Flory officiating. Memorials are suggested to Margaret Mary Hospital Hospice.
