Ruth Ann Theising, 81, of Batesville, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Margaret Mary Hospital. She was born to Paul and Evelyn (Vanderpohl) Theising on April 29, 1940 in Greensburg, Indiana.

Ruth was a 1958 graduate of Clarksburg High School and went on to graduate from Jewish Hospital's nursing program as a registered nurse. She was a quiet person who had a special love for animals, especially dogs and cats. Ruth also enjoyed spending quality time with her family.

Ruth is survived by her brother, William Theising (Rosemary), her sister, Paula McDonald; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 10 AM to 11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM with Father Bill Ehalt officiating all held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in St. Maurice. Burial will follow immediately after at St. Maurice Cemetery.
