Sandra Jean Brier, 79, of Batesville, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025. She was born on November 16, 1945, in Springfield, Massachusetts, the daughter of Henry and Hilda (Coté) LaMontagne.

She had a deep love for knitting and cross stitching, often spending hours creating beautiful handmade pieces for family and friends. However, her greatest passion was reading. She could always be found with a book in hand, completely immersed in a story. Reading brought her comfort, joy, and adventure, and she cherished the quiet moments spent lost in the pages of a good book. She left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her, and she will be missed by all who loved her.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Dianna (Don) Cooper; granddaughters: Heather Haines, Jessica Cooper, Katie Cooper; and great granddaughter, Adelaide.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters: Pamela Carey and Sue LaMontagne.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are planned.
