Sarah Katherine Aune passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 19, 2024, in Batesville, Indiana. The daughter of Christopher and Chi (Kim) Aune was born on December 8, 1986. She was only 37 years old.

Sarah graduated from Batesville High School and received her BA from Indiana State University. She was currently working at Thrive Market in Batesville.

Sarah was a very compassionate, loving young woman. She was always making and bringing food for folks at work to brighten their day. She enjoyed helping people in need, especially donating to help refugees of crises. One of the things she made was heating pads for cancer patients to use for comfort. Sarah's love also poured into her cats and everything she did to care for them. She supported the Ripley County Animal Shelter in Osgood.

She will be dearly missed by her parents, Christopher and Chi Aune, and her brother Samuel Aune all of Batesville.

Friends and family may call on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 9:30 am until time of Memorial Service at 11:30 am, all held at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville.
