There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 12:00pm – 3:00pm, Maxim at Hillcrest.

Shawn Christopher Flannery, age 50 of Batesville passed away January 28, 2023 at Margaret Mary Health after a long battle with cancer.  Shawn is the son of Linda and Bill Flannery born November 25, 1972 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Shawn graduated from Batesville High School in 1991 before attending Ball State University and receiving his BS from Indiana Wesleyan University. For over 20+ years, Shawn worked in Technical Service for Hill-Rom in Batesville.

To know Shawn was to love him. Throughout his illness, he taught us strength, courage and kindness to others, and love of family that will never be forgotten. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family (who were especially important to him) and his many friends.

He will be sadly missed by his parents, Linda, Bill (Ginger), his son Dylan, his daughter Lauren, his sister Shanda Flannery and many other family members and friends.

Our sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and oncology staff at Margaret Mary Health for helping him through his care.
