Sherri Mealor, age 64 of Guilford, IN passed away on her birthday, March 14, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on March 14, 1950 in Cincinnati, OH and was the daughter of Robert Dale & Alta Faye (Hodges)Willis. She married Gary Eugene Mealor on January 1, 1971 and he preceded her in death on July 6, 2013.

She was a member of the Berean Baptist Church in Bright, IN, a member of the Quilters Guild and the Fiber Friends spinning group. Sherri gave of herself in many ways, volunteering her time teaching knitting classes at local libraries, volunteering on the Rape Crisis Team and many other activities throughout the years. She loved nature and all of Gods wonders. She will be missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Sherri is survived by her sons Bobby (Leslie Becker) Mealor & Johnny Mealor and her daughter Wendy Johnson. She will also be missed by her brother Steve (Ann) Willis, her grandchildren Jon & Jake Mealor, John, Sarah & Gracie Johnson and her niece Nicole.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 4pm until time of memorial service at 6pm at Berean Baptist Church in Bright, IN with Pastor Charles Davis officiating. Burial willfollow servicesin Gibson Cemetery.
