Shirley Mae Obermeyer, age 62 of Oldenburg, IN passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at her home. Born March 2, 1950 in Batesville she was the daughter of Helen & the late Joseph Nunlist of Oldenburg, IN. She married Robert J. Obermeyer on July 8, 1972 in Oldenburg. The 1968 graduate of Batesville High School was a member of Holy Family Church. Shirley is survived by her husband Robert J. Obermeyer, mother Helen Nunlist, children Jenny (Tim) O'Connell, Tim (Cara) Obermeyer & Greg (Tricia) Obermeyer and grandchildren Fiona O'Connell, Kelvin O'Connell, Leo Obermeyer & Lila Obermeyer. She will also be missed by her siblings Judy Combs, Kay Lynn Obermeyer, Janet Howell, Butch Nunlist, Pat Obermeyer & Peg Meyer. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister Lori Dwenger. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 4-8pm at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 10:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church with Fr. David Kobak OFM officiating. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Cancer Research or Margaret Mary Hospital Hospice c/o Meyers Funeral Home.
