Suzanne M. Hebauf, age 66 years of W. Harrison, IN passed away suddenly Thursday, February 25, 2010 in Harrison, OH. Born August 18, 1943 in Cincinnati, OH she was the daughter of the late Charles B. & Alvina (Metzler) Barhorst. She was a 1961 graduate of Seton High School & 1965 graduate of College of Mount St. Joe where she received her BA in Elementary Education. She married Dennis H Hebauf on April 16, 1966 at St. William Church in Price Hill, OH. She & her husband are members of St. Joseph Church in St. Leon, IN and she taught for 25 years, second grade at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic School. Mrs. Hebauf is survived by her husband Dennis H. Hebauf, daughter Gabrielle (Bruce) Weaver of Lebanon, OH and sons Peter (Linda) Hebauf of W. Harrison, IN & Tim (Amanda) Hebauf of Galion, OH. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Cassondra, Patrick, Matthew & Andrew Hebauf and Th½r½se Weaver, brothers Donald (Anna Mae) Barhorst of Houston, TX and Charles D. (Suzanne) Barhorst of Brookville, IN and sisters Inez (Dave) White of Louisville, KY; Patricia (Larry) McLeary of W. Harrison, IN; Sandra (Skeeter) Barhorst of Muncie, IN; Mary Carol (Brent) Thompson of Blackshear, GA & Barbara (Glenn) Simmons of Brookville, IN and also many nieces & nephews. She will especially be missed by her second grade class. Visitation will be Monday, March 1, 2010 from 1-7pm at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish Center followed by services at 7:30pm at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, 7130 Harrison Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45247 (Taylors Creek) with Father C. Ryan McCarthy & Father Donald Siciliano officiating. Burial will be on Tuesday at St. Joseph Old Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to St. Bernard School, Suzanne & Dennis Hebauf Scholarship Fund.
