Tammy Lee (Potraffke) Douglas, 46 of Napoleon, IN but raised in Moores Hill, IN passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 in Indianapolis, IN. Born July 27, 1967 in Ft. Bragg, NC, she is the daughter of Roger Sr. & the late Sandra Lee (Bailey) Potraffke of Moores Hill, IN. Tammy graduated from South Dearborn High School in 1985 and received her LPN License in 1988. She then went on to receive her RN License from Ivy Tech in Madison, IN. She married Michael Douglas on August 10, 1991 at St. John Lutheran Church in Napoleon. In addition to her father, Tammy will be missed by her husband Michael Douglas and her two sons Steven & Derek Douglas. She will also be missed by her sisters Brenda (Jason) Wismann and Vickie (Michael) Durham both of Rising Sun, IN and her brothers Roger Potraffke Jr. of Moores Hill, Brian (Barry) Potraffke of Ft. Thomas, KY, Michael Potraffke of Moores Hill & Christopher Potraffke of Moores Hill. She also leaves behind many nieces & nephews and many, many friends. Tammy was a loving wife and mother who spoke often of her husband and sons. She adored her family, friends, dogs, and horses. Tammy was a compassionate surgical nurse at Margaret Mary Health. She always put others before herself and Tammy will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, January 31, 2014 from 4-8pm and Funeral Services will be Saturday at 11:00am at the Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN with Pastor Jennifer Owen officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Napoleon. Memorials are suggested to the Children's Education Fund c/o Meyers Funeral Home.
