Ted McConnell, 85, formerly of Batesville, IN passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 23, 2015 at his son's home in Wooster, Ohio. Ted was born in Mobile, Alabama to the late Tom and Lily McConnell on January 15, 1930. He is survived by his 5 children, David McConnell, Diane Fritsch (Batesville), Brent McConnell, Marie Stamm, Timothy McConnell, nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Ted was an entrepreneurial businessman in Louisiana for many years, owning and operating several heavy equipment and mobile home sales businesses. He moved to Batesville in 2007 and became a member of the Batesville Christian Church. Ted will be missed by his friends and family. Memorial services will be held at the Batesville Christian Church on Thursday, January 29, 2015 with visitation from 5:30pm until time of services at 6:30pm.
