Terry N. Yeager, age 64 of Morris, IN passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 at his home. The son of the late Edwin and Lillian (Bedel) Yeager was born on February 2, 1949 in Batesville, IN. He married Roberta Yeager at the Delaware Fire House on September 11, 1982. The US Army Veteran served in Vietnam and was a member of Batesville VFW 3183 and Milan American Legion Post 235. Terry retired from Batesville Tool and Die and worked many years prior to that position at the Morris Feed Mill. He liked playing cards, going to the casinos, drinking beer and going to the VFW. Terry also enjoyed being outdoors, going dancing, watching Nascar, Football and having a good time. He was a wonderful man according to his wife. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Roberta, daughters Penny (Tim) Hartman of Milan, IN and Patty (Don) Wood of Cleves, OH and his son Rob (Lea) Burdette of Milan, IN. Along with 6 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and brother Wally Yeager of Batesville, four sisters Lauren (Bill) Voegele, Carol (Darryl) Ryan and Louise (Jerry) Volk all of Morris, IN and Leola (Marvin) Craig of Columbia City, IN. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Martin & Edwin Jr. Yeager and Sister Viola Berry. Visitation, Monday November 25, 2013 from 10am to 1pm followed by Military Services at 1pm at Meyers Funeral Home, 1150 St. Rd. 46E, Batesville, IN. Burial will be 10am on Tuesday at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, IN. Memorials may be given to Our Hospice of Decatur and Shelby Co. 2626 E. 17th St., Columbus, IN 47201.
