Thomas "Tommy" Raymond Henson, 62, of Batesville, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025. He was born at home on February 27, 1963, in Lawrenceburg, IN, the son of Thomas John Jr. and Marita Henson.

He lived a life full of love and joy, always finding happiness in the things he cherished most. One of his favorite places was his second home, New Horizons in Batesville, where he found community and comfort. A devoted sports fan, he especially loved cheering for the Cincinnati Reds and the Bengals. He also enjoyed bowling with the Special Olympics, where his enthusiasm and spirit shined. With a deep love for classic rock music and a caring heart for those around him, he brought warmth and happiness to everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Victoria Kilgore (Dan); his loving family, Anthony, Tonia, and Andrew; and his aunt, Judy. He was preceded in death by his parents and many aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held for family and friends on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Meyers Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM, also at the funeral home.
