Thurston R. Coyle, age 83 years of Vidor, TX passed away Sunday, March 26, 2006 in Beaumont, TX. Born August 21, 1922 in Richmond, KY he was the son of Julian & Flora (Powell) Coyle. He was a US Army Veteran during WWII in which he was a POW where he later escaped. He was a member of the American Legion and H.S. Johnson Lodge 0641 F&AM in College Hills and he retired as a truck driver. Mr. Coyle is survived by his wife Louise Coyle; daughter Sharon Norman of Batesville, IN; grandchildren Mike Norman & Shannon Trennepohl; great grandchildren Cole & Nickolas Norman. He will also be missed by his sisters Jewell Barton of Arizona and Evelyn Allen of Cincinnati; brothers Jim Coyle of Columbus, IN, Roy Coyle of Batesville, IN and Julian Coyle of Mississippi. Visitation will be Thursday, March 30, 2006 from 5-8pm at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. Funeral Services are Friday, March 31, 2006 at 10:00am at the funeral home with Travis Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Berea Cemetery in Berea, KY with Military Graveside Rites.
