Timothy Joe Smith, age 59 of Laurel, Indiana, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at his home.  The son of Joe & Raylene (Bernett) Smith was born on August 25, 1958 in New Castle, IN.

Tim worked for Ford in Connersville until they closed and then Hill-Rom in Batesville before becoming disabled.

Tim is survived by his wife, Suzanne (Warren); children, Tim Smith Jr.  Stephen Smith; step children, Eric Hopping, Aaron Hopping and Stephanie Engle; 18 grand children, 2 great grandchildren; brothers Tom & Danny Smith and sisters Jenny Barber and Becky West.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Stephen and David Smith.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 11am -1pm immediately followed by funeral services at 1pm all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville.  Pastor Mike Addison officiating.  Burial will follow in Green Cemetery.
