Tony Linkous, 69, of Batesville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Monday, February 17, 2025.

Born in Springdale, Ohio, to Jess and Faye (Mills) Linkous, Tony was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Amy; his daughters, Adrienne (Chris) Shockley and Rebecca (Daniel) Carr; and his cherished grandson, Joey Carr.

Tony enjoyed a long career in automotive manufacturing and had a passion for building cars. He loved fishing, playing baseball, and, most importantly, spending time with his family. A true outdoorsman, he found joy in tending to his yard, cutting grass, and planting flowers. Tony was also a proud alumnus of Xavier University.

Per Tony's wishes, the family will hold a private celebration of life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Batesville Archery Team in Tony's memory.
