Vicki Lynn (Thielking) Kennedy of Valencia, California, and formerly of Batesville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2012. A 1974 graduate of Batesville High School, she was employed by Placerita Jr. High School in Valencia teaching drama and dance. The daughter of Carl and Alice Thielking of Batesville, married William Kennedy of Mansfield, Ohio at the Sherman House, Batesville, IN on October 25, 1980. She is survived by her husband and parents, along with her son Andrew (Ashley) Kennedy, daughter Abby Kennedy, and granddaughter Angelina all of Valencia, CA; sister Ann (Robert) Wernke of Florida, and brothers Jeff (Mari) Thielking of Batesville, and Mitch (Mags) Thielking of Oldenburg. On Saturday, April 21, 2012 there will be a Celebration of her life at Placerita Junior High School in California. On May 5, 2012 the family will hold a private graveside service at Rossburg Cemetery in New Point, IN where she will be laid to rest. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society thru Meyers Funeral Home.
