Violet Cornelius, age 87 of Miamitown, OH passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at her home. The daughter of Robert Lee and Anne (Rose) Ball was born on April 27, 1927 in Williamsburg, KY. Violet married George H. Cornelius on July 11, 1947. She is survived by three children Georgette Cornelius of Harrogate, TN, Robert Butch' (Veronica) Cornelius of Harrison, OH, and Jennifer Cornelius of Miamitown; four grandchildren, George (Cindy) Cornelius of West Harrison, IN, Katie Beaton of Harrison, Emily (Joe) Shaffer of Lebanon, OH and Margaret (Rashad) Manton of Harrison; ten great grandchildren, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Annie, Noah, Tina, Bubba, Gwen, Violet, Charlie and Hope; along with her siblings Leonard Ball of Maineville, OH, Shirley Brinkley of Williamstown, KY and June Prewitt of West Chester, OH and sister-in-law Norma Ball of Loveland, OH and special friend Jenny Swartz. In addition to her parents, Violet was preceded in death by her husband George; brother Eskel Ball, brother-in-laws, JB Prewitt, Ken Brinkley, James Cornelius, Willard Cornelius, E.B. Cornelius, John Cornelius & Charles Cornelius and sister-in-laws Mary Cornelius Smith and Elizabeth Ball. Private Services are at the convenience of the family.
