Vivien Carter, age 68 years of New Point, IN passed away Sunday, September 14, 2008 in Greensburg, IN Born May 7, 1940 in Columbus, IN she was the daughter of the late Eugene & Frances (Wilber) Bostic. She married Ray T. Carter on April 4, 1958 in Greensburg. He passed away Feb. 2, 2008. She was a member of New Point Christian Church and retired from Rossburg Truck Stop. Mrs. Carter is survived by her children Denver Carter & Dwayne Carter both of Crawfordsville, IN & Debbie (Jerry) Borgman of Batesville, IN; grandchildren Daphnie Taylor, Nickie Mahon & Lori Borgman and great grandchildren Trenton, Karynn & Evan Taylor, Brodie & Brock Mahon. She will also be missed by her siblings Carol Belter & Judy Walker both of Batesville, IN and Wesley "Bud" Bostic of New Point, IN. In addition to her parents & husband, she was preceded in death by her infant brother Alan Lane Carter. Visitation will be Thursday, September 18, 2008 from 11am until time of service at 1pm all at New Point Christian Church in New Point, IN with Pastor Mark Vice officiating. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery in Milford, IN. Memorials are suggested to the family.
