Wade Preston Narwold, age 50 years of Batesville, IN passed away at his home on Sunday, July 19, 2009. Born July 9, 1959 in Greensburg, IN he is the son of Allen & Mary Lou (Linkmeyer) Narwold. He was a 1977 graduate of Batesville High School, a member of St. John United Church of Christ (Huntersville), Batesville, IN and former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church Crossroads. He married Ann L. Krieger on July 26, 1986 at St. John United Church of Christ. Wade loved to farm with his family. He also was an avid shooter and a member of the Coonhunters Lodge. The Browning Gun was his favorite. Wade was a friend to everyone, loved to talk on his cell phone and will be missed by all. Wade is survived by his wife Ann L. Narwold; children Barbara Jo "BJ" Narwold & Colt Jacob Narwold both at home; parents Allen & Mary Lou Narwold and sister Amy (Steve) Siebert. He was preceded in death by his brother Roger Narwold who died as an infant. Visitation will be Thursday, July 23, 2009 from 10am 1pm at St. John United Church of Christ (Huntersville), Batesville, IN followed by services at 1:00pm with Rev. David Johnston officiating. Burial will be in St. John (Huntersville) Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Ripley County Community Foundation or a scholarship fund for his children.
