William Albert Schrader, age 76 of Batesville, IN passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at his home. Born on his father's farm on May 27, 1938 in Batesville he was the son of Errett & Ethel (Haessig) Schrader. He graduated from Batesville High School in 1956 and then went on to serve his country in the US Army where he was stationed in Ft. Lewis. He was a member of Adams Lutheran Church in Batesville and he retired from Milestone Construction. William is survived by his wife Lois (Kleimeyer) Schrader; his children Christopher (Julie) Schrader of Noblesville, IN, Greg Schrader and Barb Schrader both of Indianapolis, IN and his sister Luella Hughes of Franklin, IN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Errett L., Clifford & Eugene Schrader. Visitation will be Friday, December 12, 2014 from 5-8pm at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 10:00am at the funeral home with Rev. Roger Tornes officiating. Burial will follow services in Adams Church Cemetery with military graveside rites. Memorials are suggested to Heifer International c/o the funeral home.
